Thor, Katniss top Hollywood Halloween costume poll

Fun-loving film fans want to be superhero Thor and “The Hunger Games'” Katniss for Halloween in America this year.

Bosses at movie ticket website Fandango have surveyed movie buffs to find out which costumes are most popular for parties and trick-or-treating and Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence’s characters have come out on top.

Among men, Henry Cavill’s Superman and Iron Man are also popular, while Theodora, the Wicked Witch of the West from “Oz: The Great & Powerful” and Elizabeth Banks’ “The Hunger Games” character Effie Trinket come in second and third, respectively, for women.

Meanwhile, “Despicable Me’s” Minions have topped Mike Wazowski from “Monsters Inc.” and “Monsters University” as the most popular kids costumes this year.
