National Zoo expects ‘panda-monium’ this weekend

WASHINGTON (AP) — Officials at the National Zoo are expecting some “panda-monium” this weekend.

The Washington zoo’s panda cub will be making her public debut Saturday.

To handle all the panda lovers, the zoo is extending the hours for the giant panda house. Bao Bao is now five-months-old.

Zoo keepers say if Bao Bao and her panda mama want, they can retreat from public view into their private den.
